Siddharth recently graduated from Texas A&M University as a chemical engineering major. He danced on Wreckin' Raas from 2016 - 2020, serving as a Treasurer his sophomore year and then as Captain his junior and senior years. He has served as a Logistics Chair for DTX Dandiya and is now a Director for the upcoming season. He's super excited to share his experiences with raas and can't wait to see you at Raas Reboot!
Anand is a Senior Design and Merchandising major at Drexel University. He danced on Drexel Dandiya from 2018-2021, serving as the creative engineer for his sophomore and junior years and then as Captain now. Anand is a fashion designer and even designed his team costumes. He is super excited to share this experience with everyone at Raas Reboot.
Prerana was a dancer for CMU Raasta from 2016-2019, and was production manager for the 2017-2018 (Everest) and 2018-2019 (Avatar) years. After graduating in 2019, she continued staying involved with the circuit as one of the tech chairs for Raas All Stars XII. Currently, she is finishing up her first year of medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Kush has been a part of the raas-garba circuit through Wreckin’ Raas since his freshman year of college at Texas A&M University. He had the honor to serve as a Captain for his team during the 2019-2020 season, which was the film set year. He finished his gap semester and will be attending medical school at the UNT Health Science Center this year!
Gautam hails from the Sub Saharan African country of Zambia. Brought up in a diverse culture, he has experienced and participated in a wide range of musical shows and concerts as a child and has accompanied many local artists. He began his DJ career under the stage name “G-tam” and has produced audio scores for various dance teams and academies nationwide.
Atish, Aka 8ish, is an alum from Roarin' Raas. He danced on the team for three years and was Captain his last year, the Mechanics. After graduating, he was co-captain of the RAAS the following year. He began judging Execution that year and has judged many competitions, including RAS. The raas circuit has given him so much and he wants to continue giving back to the circuit as much as he can!
Arvind danced on Dirty South Dandiya from 2016-19. For him, raas was about much more than just the dance, and it gave him the opportunity to grow and mature in ways he could've never expected. He learned so much from his team and from the circuit. Raas gave him a lot, so he wants to give back to it. He wants to help people experience raas and learn from it just like he did.
Srijay is a junior Information Science major at the University of Maryland, College Park. Srijay is an avid filmmaker and videographer, having released his first short in June 2020. In the past, Srijay has helped admin the Raas Dance Bracket, and served as Tech+Design Chair for Maryland Masti. Now, Srijay is director of Maryland Masti, and has helped record dance videos for many teams.
Sanika was a dancer on GT Ramblin' Raas from 2016-2020 and a Captain for of the three years, helping lead the team to our first RAS appearance at RAS XII! She also served as the Logistics Chair for A-Town Showdown 2020. After graduating last fall, she is excited to be starting her new job and moving to the DC area this summer!
Roshan is a graduate from Rutgers University and spent three years on RU RAGA before becoming Captain his senior year. Currently, he resides in Jersey City and works in Product Management at Travelers. Roshan eventually wants to own a farm like his ancestors before him and raise three alpacas.
Praneeth's raas-garba Experience mainly consists of photography and videography. He started out in the Raas Circuit as the manager for SLU Raas in 2017 and became a photographer for RAS IX. Later on, he served as the Creative Lead for RAS X, the Tech Chair for Legends III, and the Director for RAS XII.
Khushboo was a member of Indiana University HoosierRaas from 2016-2020. During her junior year, she served as the HoosierRaas Public Relations Chair while not being able to dance, and she returned her senior year as a dancer and Captain. She has also been involved at the competition level, serving as Raas Royalty Hospitality Chair in 2018 and liaison to Illini Raas at RAS in 2019 and CMU Raasta at Raas Royalty in 2020.
Bhavik was a member of GT Ramblin' Raas from 2016-2020 and served as a Captain for 3 years between 2017-2020. He also was involved with A-Town Showdown from 2017-2020 as a Liaison, Hospitality Chair, and finally as Director. Currently, Bhavik is pursuing his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech. He is also looking forward to supporting the Jacksonville Jaguars in next year's Superbowl.
Arjun was a member of WashU Raas from 2017-2020. He was Treasurer for my last two seasons and Captain/Choreo his senior season for our 'Life in the Midwest' year. He loves studying raas and breaking down what makes great performances great, and is thankful to get to pass this knowledge on. Since graduating from WashU, he has worked on political campaigns and now works at the White House.
